What is the best way to deter foxes from coming into my garden?

Get hair clippings from Barbers, stuff old tights with them and hang them on the fence. Sounds daft but it does work i have used it for years and live in the country and Hugh fernlly whitingstone chef from River Cottage did it and it worked on his chicken runs
