AVG Free version 8 questions?

Yesterday I upgraded from the free AVG 7.5 to the new free AVG 8. I use this with the default Windows firewall, Spybot S&D and Spyware Blaster. I found this combination very satisfactory when I used AVG 7.5. But I notice version 8 has features 7.5 didn't have. My question is does anyone know if version 8 will conflict with the other security software on my computer, or will it work in conjunction with it as 7.5 did? Also has anyone had enough experience using this new free version 8 to be able to say if it's actually any betterthan version 7.5?
