Will it be possible to play music from my HP laptop through JBL iPod sound dock speakers?

It's possible if the speakers have a mini phone plug in addition to the ipod connector. Look for speakers that say they can work with ipod or other mp3 players. In fact, you can use computer speakers with most mp3 players.
