Do loops in dreads go away with time?

If you palm roll them (preferably with wax), i imagine the loops will go away in time. if it doent look like its doing anything, try taking a toothpick or something similar and tucking the loop inside of the dread, then waxing and palm rolling again (if your dreads are new-ish and not too hard).
