I think this is indeed a tragedy, and it goes to show that if you love your team, you shouldn't take things in excess. Things like this happen all of the time. I hear about riots in streets during times such as March Madness. There are devout followers of sports teams, that will get drunk and do things out of the ordinary all for the sake of "excitement". I think celebration is fine, but don't do it in excess. Love your team if you must, but make sure you are responsible with what you do. This is sad, and it is a reminder to have self control.
