Gillete fusion proglide sucks?

to me it does! i bought just the cartridge and power blade. and the cartridge is really bad. i only used it 4 times and i have the worst razor burn and i am getting a lot of cuts. is it just a bad blade as in it will never be smooth no matter what cartridge? or did i just get screwed and bought a dull or not properly sharpened blade? i dont wanna spend 15 on 4 more cartridges that will suck
